VTG Project Solutions has opened new branches in Russia, Lithuania and China as well as a representative office in Japan, in its efforts to strengthen its presence in Eastern Europe and Asia.
With the new branches in Russia and in Klaipėda, Lithuania, VTG is continuing to expand its logistics expertise in handling the transport of heavy and oversized loads.
The branch in Shanghai and the representative office in Japan will likewise serve to broaden its portfolio in Asia. “There are large numbers of transports from Asia to the CIS and STAN countries. A stronger local presence puts us closer to new businesses that can benefit specifically from our project logistics expertise,” Oksana Janssen, Head of VTG Project Solutions, said.
VTG Project Solutions operates in all transport sectors between Europe, America and Asia, offering comprehensive service portfolio that includes preparing load diagrams, obtaining transport permits, and handling and securing loads.
Its primary focus is on rail and port operations and the movement of heavy and oversized loads on various modes of transport (rail, road and water), including transshipment via ports such as Klaipėda in Lithuania and Vladivostok in Russia.
The logistics experts’ core competencies also include coordinating wagon and container transshipments at borders where standard and broad-gauge rail systems meet, a key criterion with transports bound for the CIS region from both Europe and Asia.
