RZD Logistics announced the launch of scheduled departures of an export train from Vorsino terminal (Kaluga region, Russia) to Chengdu (China), Russian goods being sent to China each Friday.
The ceremony of first departure was organized to coincide with the official visit of a Chinese delegation from Chengdu, which consisted of government authorities and business representatives.
The train will run across the circular route Vorsino-Chengdu-Vorsino through the border point Zamyn-Uud (Mongolia). The next train will depart on November 17th and will shuttle on a weekly basis.
Initially, on Vorsino – Chengdu rail route, RZD Logistics provided one transport service every two weeks.
The route has been launched in the framework of the Russian Export Center’s project on the support of the non-resource export from Russia to China.
