The US Trade and Development Agency signed an agreement to provide a non-refundable USD 1.5 Million grant to the HCM City’s Management Authority for Urban Railways to establish an integrated telecommunications control centre for the city’s metro rail system.
US contractor Cisco Systems, Inc. has been engaged to conduct a feasibility study and develop a plan for the acquisition and implementation of information and communications technologies for the control centre for the HCM City’s metro rail system.
The project will be carried out from September to May next year.
