Ballarat_VLineStarting 29 January, the Victorian Government introduced 80 new weekly train services across the network. The new V/Line timetable also marked the opening of Caroline Springs Station, providing direct services to this booming community in Melbourne’s west for the very first time.
There are new services on the Maryborough, Shepparton, Warrnambool, Bendigo, Ballarat, Geelong and Gippsland lines.
On Ballarat, Maryborough, Bendigo and Gippsland lines there are 10 extra services per week each, on Wyndham and Shepparton lines, 5 extra services per week each, on Warrnambool line 12 extra services and on Geelong, 18 extra services per week.
