Railcar manufacturer United Wagon Company (UniWagon) has started implementing an IT-system SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Management. SAP S/4HANA is an effective new generation ERP system for an enterprise resources management, created based on advanced in-memory platform SAP HANA.
“The use of leading functional and technologically advanced solutions will ensure maximum business-effect and will improve the quality of production processes,” Vladislav Masenkov, IT Solutions Delivery Director at United Wagon Company, said.
The implemented system will contribute to the acceleration of the speed of operation of the corporate information system procedures of financial period closure; to the optimization of processes of the corporation management, provision of new level of analytical capabilities and reporting in online mode, lowering of financial and tax risks, reduction of costs for financial audit and labor expenditures of users.
The holding plans to create a corporate template of IT solutions for its freight car building plants, located on the industrial site of the town of Tikhvin.
