The appointment of new leadership of Ukrzaliznytsia will allow to improve the quality of transport services, will contribute to its modernization and will allow UAH 7 billion (EUR 250 million) savings, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said.
“Only an ambitious plan of the new leader contain that we will save over the first year of his management, not less, just imagine, than UAH 7 billion. And I want to urge you to monitor developments in the Ukrainian Railway, thereby you will see that having paid a few hundred thousand hryvnias we will economize billions, which were used to be distributed among wheeler-dealers. Our railways should become a modern, European company,” he said.
