TX Logistik AG has increased its intermodal connections between Padborg in Denmark and Verona in Italy from five to six round trips per week. This innovation coincides with the completion of comprehensive work on its own terminal in Padborg. Through extended capacity, TX Logistik enables multiple transportation.
In the last two years, the storage area has already been extended to 3,300 sqm, the existing tracks lengthened and the electrification of the terminal implemented. Since then, several trains can be loaded and unloaded simultaneously and faster.
TX Logistik expects also future growth on the north-south corridor through increased use of the NiKRASA transhipment system, the significance of which is recognised more and more in the fresh produce segment, too.
