Turkish operator Turkrail plans to launch a regular container service to Austria via Serbia. The service will be offered twice weekly between the Halkali hub in Turkey and the Wiencont terminal in Vienna. Turkrail intends to increase its frequency in the future.
The Turkish company will operate the first connection in a trial mode in order to determine the quality of the service and its potential relocation from the current route through Romania.
