Turkish State Railways (TCDD) reported a loss of 1.28 billion Turkish lira (461 million euros) last year. This is the largest loss of all the state economic enterprises of Turkey in 2013, according to a report unveiled in Parliament.
TCDD’s losses increased 45.9% since 2012. Overall, Turkish state enterprises lost 3.8 billion Turkish lira (1.36 billion euros) last year.
