As of now, the Norwegian company Mantena AS will take over the handling of service, maintenance and spare parts for Traktionssysteme Austria (TSA) in Norway.
Mantena is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the NSB Group. The company has several locations in Norway with approximately 1,200 employees and is currently expanding in Sweden as well. The company has its headquarters in Oslo and has, among other equipment, its own repair department for motors where also new windings (for DC/CA) are being manufactured.
The Norwegian market is growing strongly and the number of TSA’s products used in Norway is increasing constantly: the operating NSB FLIRT fleet is expanding steadily, Variobahn low-floor trams by Stadler are driving through the city of Bergen, and CAF (Spain) will supply type Oaris vehicles to the operator Flytoget (Airport Express Train in Oslo) – also with TSA motors.
