Listed builders Budimex and ZUE in consortium with builder Strabag filed the lowest bid in the tender for the modernization of a stretch of the Warsaw-Radom railway line. Their bid is of PLN 216.7 mln (49.1 million euros).
Other offers were submitted by a consortium of Swietelsky Rail Polska, Track Tec Construction, Swietelsky Baugesellschaft, Leinard Weiss, Intop Warszawa and Infrakol (PLN 219 mln – 49.6 million euros), listed builder Torpol in consortium with Porr (PLN 226.6 mln – 51.3 million euros), listed builder Trakcja in consortium with Comsa and PKP Energetyka (228.8 mln – 51.8 million euros) as well as Intercor and PNiUIK (PLN 238 mln – 53.9 million euros).
The contract was initially estimated at PLN 292 mln (66.2 million euros) net.
