A virtual impression of the new Wynyard Station, Sydney, have been unveiled by the NSW Minister for Transport Andrew Constance. The NovoView app offers an inside view of the yet to be completed station upgrade.
The concept, developed by Novo Rail, enables customers to experience 360-degree views of what the station will look like when it’s finished – like they are there in person.
The virtual reality technology allows users to select from three panoramas of the completed station, with the option to explore other project information such as a construction photo gallery.
The AUD 100 million (USD 69.5 million) Wynyard Station upgrade will create a new gateway to Sydney’s financial district and western CBD, with increased capacity for the future. The new Wynyard Station will be opened in mid-2016.
