SunRail launches services on its new line

SunRail, the commuter rail operator in Greater Orlando, Florida, launched passenger services on the new railway line in southern part. It has a length of 27 km and four new stations, of which one in Orange County (Meadow Woods station) and three (Tupperware, Kissimmee and Poinciana) in Osceola County.
The operator offers a “First 50 Free” promotion to riders whose trip originates at any of the four new southern stations starting July 30 and running through August 17.
Since July the company began running service on a new schedule, featuring more mid-day time slots, as well as running later at night. Service is increasing from 18 round trips per day to 20 round trips per day.
SunRail operates over 79-km and 16 stations through Volusia, Seminole, Orange and Osceola counties, in Florida.
