Sofia metro operator Metropoliten has initiated a tender for the overhaul of up to 12 metro trains. The contract forsees the overhaul of two trains and an option for up to ten more trains, depending on whether Metropoliten manages to secure the necessary financing.
The value of the works is estimated at BGN 66 million (EUR 33.7 million). The term of the contract is four years. Offers will be ranked solely based on price. The deadline for submitting offers is 18 June.
