The Sofia municipality has launched a 88 million levs (EUR 44.8 million) tender for the supply, integration and maintenance of an automated electronic system for fare collection. The tender envisages the supply of 1,300 vending machines and 4,733 validators.
The deadline for submitting offers is 13 July. Bids will be ranked according to price and quality criteria. The duration of the contract will be 10 years.
