Slovenske železnice (Slovenian Railways) chairman Dušan Mes announced that the national railway operator is looking for a new partner for the Ljubljana passenger terminal project Emonika instead of the Hungarian-Canadian developer Trigranit. An agreement is expected to be reached by 15 July, and the terminal concluded in two years.
The government will allocate a EUR 25m foreign investment subsidy for the Ljubljana passenger terminal, as part of efforts to relaunch the stalled project.
The Emonika project is a pubic-private partnership envisaging the construction of new central train and bus terminals in the capital.
