Škoda Group to unveil latest public transport solutions at InnoTrans 2024

Award-winning tram, revolutionary “Sleep in motion” project, advanced digital innovation and signalling systems. These are just a glimpse of what Škoda Group is bringing to InnoTrans 2024, the world’s leading rail transport trade fair, held from 24-27 September in Berlin. Award-winning tram and revolutionary night train

At the heart of Škoda Group’s exhibit is the tram designed for SWB Bus und Bahn Bonn, Škoda ForCity Smart 41T, which has been recently honoured with the prestigious Red Dot Design Award. This tram represents a new era in urban mobility, with a focus on design, efficiency, and passenger experience. Also debuting at the event is “Sleep in Motion” patented concept.

This isn’t just a typical night train—it’s a revolutionary concept that promises the kind of comfort you’d never expect on rails. The innovative design will be presented in mock-up form directly at Škoda booth.

Next generation of urban transport

Visitors are invited to experience pioneering digital solutions that are transforming public transport. From enhancing safety to improving the passenger experience, these innovations, like award-winning anti-collision system, ATO system or Smart Depot ecosystem, are all about making travel smarter and more efficient. In addition, Škoda will showcase its latest urban rail solutions that set new standards in flexibility and efficiency.

Experience the modular design of Škoda trams for rnv and dive deeper with a unique VR tour of new Škoda tram for Prague. Also on display is the traction equipment and MGU for Škoda ForCity Smart 41T trams. These components demonstrate Škoda’s dedication to high-performance technology, ensuring reliability and efficiency in every journey.

  • 24 September, 1pm, outdoor track: Discover the award-winning Škoda ForCity Smart 41T tram up close, with a presentation on the outdoor track in front of Hall 3.2.
  • 24 September, 3pm, Booth 600: In collaboration of The Signalling Company with IPE, Škoda Group will present the future of rail safety with universal digital rail platform designed to run all necessary systems.
  • 25 September, 10am, outdoor track: Škoda Group joins Siemens Mobility’s press conference on the ComfortJet, a train designed for long-distance travel at speeds up to 230 km/h.
  • 25 September, 3pm, Booth 600: Be the first to hear about the first developments in Smart Depot ecosystem.
