On April 17, Koleje Śląskie (Silesian Railways) has published a tender for the acquisition of 13 new EMUs.
The order includes the deliver of two-3 car trains, one with 2 cars and ten-4 car trains. The new trains must be designed for disabled people, special places for bikes.
The winner will have to deliver the first train in 2017, and the last unit shall be delivered in July 2018.
