On 22 September 2015, Serbian Golubinci–Ruma railway line was opened, allowing trains to safely travel at a speed of up to 120 km/h, the current limit being 30 km/h. The Golubinci–Ruma railway line is part of the European Corridor 10, on Serbian territory.
Works on railway modernization started in February, RZD International performing a full range of works included a complete upgrade of the lower and upper structure of railway track for over 19.7 km, the replacing of 7 turnouts, the renovation of 5 road crossings, the construction of Kraljevci stopping point.
