The National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) will provide global logistics support to the Saudi Rail Company (SAR), including clearance services from Bahri Logistics.
Under the contract signed between the two companies, Bahri Logistics will provide SAR transport and shipping services for all types of cargo and an electronic system to track all shipments from the country of origin to the final destination in warehouses or worksites of the company and also will offer consultancy services in accordance with industry standards and international best practices in the field of maritime transport.
“We are pleased to sign this contract with SAR, one of the leading national companies dedicated to continuously enhancing its services. The contract also falls in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, as Bahri is constantly working to strengthen and expand its services to further reinforce the transport sector in the Kingdom and play an important role in the Kingdom’s economic diversification efforts,” Ahmed Mohammed Al-Ghaith, president of Bahri Logistics, said.
