RZD and the Galaktika Corporation have signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of information technology. The cooperation agreement is aimed at implementing the import substitution strategy for foreign software, developing and implementing domestic software solutions and creating information systems for RZD that are equal to the best foreign analogues in terms of functionality, reliability, scalability and security.
“We regard Russian developers as reliable partners in the implementation of our comprehensive Digital Railways programme, which is aimed at improving the efficiency and safety of the transportation process,” said Evgeny Charkin, Information Technology Director at RZD.
