Russian railway company RZD International is interested in the construction of a freight railway transport dispatch centre in Serbia, according to the company’s managing director Sergey Pavlov. The project will represent a large step forward for state-owned freight railway operator Srbija Kargo, which will have better opportunities for the planning and organisation of the transport of goods.
The centre will be located in Belgrade and will manage the freight railway transport across the entire territory of Serbia. RZD International plans to hold talks with the new Serbian government on the project in June.
