RZD CEO Oleg Belozerov and President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic have discussed opportunities for the Russian company to take part in new infrastructural projects in Serbia. Oleg Belozerov also discussed Serbian projects in which RZD could participate with Serbia’s Minister of Construction, Transportation and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic.
In particular, the Russian company is interested in an opportunity to design and build a dispatching center and the implementation of the second phase of the Stara Pazova – Novi Sad project (electrification and installation of alarm systems for speeds of up to 200 km/h). RZD is also contemplating cooperating in the Novi Beograd – Nikola Tesla Airport railway line project and participating in the upgrade of two segments of the TEN-T Corridor X.
