Russia’s state-owned railway company RZD is interested in infrastructure projects in Laos and Cambodia, the company’s First Vice-President Alexander Misharin said on the sidelines of the Russia-ASEAN summit, TASS reports.
“Today a joint project in Cambodia is being worked out, and here we’re working with the Kingdom’s railways while our Laos’ colleagues proposed to sign a framework agreement on cooperation in the railways industry some time ago. I hope that today’s meetings with Cambodia’s and Laos’ colleagues will see us advancing to the next stage,” Alexander Misharin said.
