RZD and Vostochny Port concluded a agreement of cooperation aimed at improving coal handling and transportation operations.
The agreement envisages the joint development of a plan of measures to increase the throughput and processing capacities of railroad sections across the Eastern Operating Domain, port-side railway stations and loading stations to increase freight handling.
The parties also intend to explore the possibility of composing trains of innovative railcars with increased load capacity.
Vostochny Port is the largest stevedoring company in Russia’s Far East specializing in hard coal handling operations.
