Russian Post launched a USD 15 million tender for the acquisition of 50 wagons, TASS reports. The order will be funded by the state under the programme aimed to support trains and wagons manufactures.
The tender will be held in two stages. Within the first stage, the company will purchase 26 postal-baggage wagons valuated at RUR 625 million (USD 9.4 million) and in the second stage, 24 ordinary wagons worth RUR 375 million (USD 5.6 million).
The auctions will be held in the electronic form and bids will be evaluated by October 21, 2015.
