Russian Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich suggested China to participate in the construction of a high speed railway from Samara to Tolyatti.
The Samara – Tolyatti high speed railway southwest Russia will pass the Kurumoch International Airport.
“China is welcomed to take a part in this project. Undoubtedly, this is a very attractive project. And we will have several more promising railway construction projects in the near future,” Dvorkovich said.
According to Russia’s railway development strategy the total length of high-speed lines will be around 11,000 route-km, that will allow trains to run at 160 km/h to 200 km/h.
The high speed network that will allow trains running at 350 km/h includes St Petersburg – Moscow; Moscow – Nizhny Novgorod; and Moscow – Smolensk – Krasnoe.
