RB Rail AS will launch at the beginning of January 2020 two tenders for detailed technical design review and design expertise services.
The two tenders will be organised for Rail Baltica’s sections in Lithuania and Estonia.
In Lithuania, the tender will be launched for detailed technical design for two sections, one from Ramygala to Lithuanian/Latvian state border and the other one, from Kaunas to Ramygala. EUR 1 million is the estimated contract price, excluding VAT.
In Estonia, the tender involves three sections: Rapla – Pärnu, Tallinn – Rapla and Pärnu – Estonian/Latvian border. The estimated contract price excluding VAT is EUR 2.44 million.
It is estimated that the proposal submission will take 30 days, considering the demanding time schedule of the Rail Baltica project. It the procurement evaluation process will last until March 2020 and the expected contract signing time is March / April 2020.
