Prasarail – a division of PRASA – has published a request for tenders for the maintenance of railway track with an on-track straight track and turnout ballast tamping machine on Gauteng North line. The job specification covers the maintenance of track by the contractor with an on-track mobile mechanised maintenance machine, with the contract scheduled to commence on 1 September for a period of 24 months.
