Consortium leader Trakcja has signed a PLN 296.5 mln (67.8 million euros) net contract for the modernization of the 14.5 km railway stretch Jaworzno Szczakowa-Trzebinia. The contract was granted by railway infrastructure operator PKP PLK.
Trakcja holds a 50% stake in the contract, while the remaining 50% belonging to Comsa, PKP Energetyka and PORR Polska.
Works on the project will last 24 months.
