PKP Cargo increases the frequency of regular container trains between ports and Warsaw

Since 14th of September the PKP Cargo Group increases the number of regular container connections between the ports and the capital up to four per week. These are the so-called operator trains, with a fixed timetable, correlated with vessels’ port calls. One train is able to carry 86 TEU (20-foot containers).
The PKP Cargo Group currently maintains three operator connections from Polish ports. In addition to the connection with the capital, PKP Cargo transports containers in this manner to Pozan and Gliwice, in both cases three times a week in import and export.
