Sweco has been commissioned by PKP PLK to supervise safety improvements at railway level crossings throughout Poland. The project concerns a total of 182 railway level crossings. It includes not only the upgrade or introduction of safety devices at the crossings, but also the improvement of the road surface, allowing smoother passage.The contract value is EUR 3.2 million. The project is estimated to be finished in 2020.
