Pavlodar Tram Management Company, Kazakhstan, has received the loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development to rehabilitate tram infrastructure and partial renewal of the existing tram fleet.
The proposed project has a total estimated cost of EUR 16 million and the financing will be provided in two tranches.
Within the project, the company will launch the tender on supply of new trams, construction of reversal rings, materials (tram track, trolley wire, turnouts), construction of traction substation and GPS System.
Tendering is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2016.
