Paris will introduce a new monthly public transport pass with a flat fare of €70 for all passengers. Until now, the cost of a monthly transport pass in Île-de-France, called the Navigo, varied according to the number of zones the passengers crossed. The new pass will be available from October 2015. The new fare allows for savings of up to €520 per year.
