Oman Rail launched the open tender for the selection of freight and network maintenance and operations company.
The winner will have to realize the pre-operations, start-up operations, and steady-state operations and will be responsable for railway freight operations and maintenance terminal operations and maintenance, and railway network management and maintenance.
The bidders must have a minimum of five years of experience in railway freight operations and maintenance, freight terminal operations and maintenance, and network management.
The deadline for submitting the offers is July 6, and as part of the technical bidding phase, all bidders will be invited to conduct a site visit on August 2-4, ahead of the deadline for technical bids on August 24.
