RZD intends to invest approximately RUB 3.9 billion (EUR 52.9 million) in 2016 in the renovation of the traction rolling stock at its branch Oktyabrskaya Railway (October Railways).
Oktyabrskaya Railway will take delivery of 31 locomotives (15 electric locomotives and 16 diesel locomotives) this year. In particular, the 3ES4K Donchak mainline DC electric freight locomotives and the TEM18DM diesel locomotives will be added to the fleet of traction rolling stock.
