ÖBB asks for understanding for noise development

ÖBB is trying to keep noise and dust levels as low as possible, but asks for your understanding that these cannot be avoided due to the work to be carried out and the machines and warning signals required. In order to impact train traffic as little as possible for the benefit of passengers, it is necessary and sensible to work at night. Nevertheless, a temporary closure of the railway line is necessary to carry out some work.

Due to the construction work, no trains can run between Wulkaprodersdorf and Eisenstadt or Neusiedl am See from October 14, 2024 (3:50 a.m.) to November 22, 2024 (8:00 p.m.). A rail replacement service with buses will be set up for you. The measures will ensure the quality of the rail infrastructure. We have also sent out information to residents about the work.
