The Norwegian National Rail Administration, Jernbaneverket, awarded Leonhard Nilsen & Sønner (LNS) the contract to construct new passing loop on Ofotbanen.
The project involves the construction of a 9 km section of the railway between Narvik and Straumsnes and a 830 single-track tunnel.
The EUR 14.6 million project will be completed by autumn next year.
