Moscow Metro announced tenders for building 22 transportation hubs at metro stations, rrcrail.com reports. The total amount of the contracts is 22.89 billion RUB (381.8 million USD), including 1.462 billion RUB (24.4 million USD) to be invested into design. The tender results will be announced in early February.
Moscow expects to build 217 transportation hubs by 2020. 169 hubs will be multifunctional centers featuring hotels, sporting and trading facilities. The remaining hubs will just be parking lots.
