Railways of Montenegro launched an invitation for Expressions of Interest for consultancy services for the rehabilitation of the railway infrastructure.
The construction supervision consultant shall exercise the authority attributable to the engineer, as specified in or necessarily implied from the contract, to ensure timely, satisfactory completion of the works in accordance with the contract.
The consulting services include supervision of one civil works contract for a 238m tunnel on Vrbnica-Bar line, for a 1.44 km tunnel located 7-9 km from the station Trebjesica to Kolasin and a 396 m tunnel located 5-6 km from the station Trebjesica to Kolasin.
The assignment is expected to start after selection of the consultant which is expected by end of May 2016, with estimated total duration of 45 months.
For these projects, Railways of Montenegro will use an EBRD loan.
