Midas Holdings’ subsidiary Jilin Midas Aluminium Industries Co., Ltd has secured contracts totaling Rmb 247.7 million (EUR 34 mn) for the supply of train car body components for high-speed trains and metro trains. These contracts were awarded by CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd and are slated for delivery in 2016.
The high-speed train contracts awarded, worth Rmb 217.3 million (EUR 29.9 mn), are for the supply of aluminium alloy extrusion profiles and fabricated parts for two types of high-speed trains that will operate at speeds of up to 250km/h and 350km/h.
Jilin Midas will also supply aluminium alloy extrusion profiles worth Rmb 30.4 million (EUR 4.1 mn) for the Shanghai Metro Line 17.
