MÁV-Start has initiated a tender for the supply of chassis and brake systems for InterCity carriages it developed for international markets. The deadline for the expression of interest to participate in the tender is 5 May.
From early next year, MÁV is expected to start making 20 IC+ carriages, licensed to travel at speeds of 200km/h on international rail lines.
The company will make a further 100 carriages, capable of traveling at speeds of up to 160 km/h, for domestic use.
