Stadler Rail Group started the production of sleeping-cars for the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars (BTK) railway, said Azerbaijan Railways in a message Septeptember 29, Trend reports.
Azerbaijan Railways said that earlier an Azerbaijani delegation, which visited the company in Switzerland, viewed the sleeping-cars.
Azerbaijan has ordered 30 sleeping-cars, that are produced in four categories: standard, comfort, business and restaurant.
The first batch of 10 cars will be commissioned in Azerbaijan in July-August 2016.
