On June 30, Prasarana Rail and Infrastructure Projects Sdn Bhd will launch transport services on Kelana Jaya and Ampang Line Extension Project (LEP), after the Malaysia’s Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) granted all the approvals required to commence the operations.
“SPAD has reviewed and approved Prasarana’s application as they have complied with all requirements under the Land Public Transport Act 2010,” SPAD CEO Mohd Azharuddin Mat Sah said.
The Kelana Jaya Line Extension begins from Kelana Jaya station and pass through 13 new stations, and is covering a distance of 17.4 km. Total length of the Kelana Jaya Line including the completion of the LRT is 46.4 km.
