Egidijus Lazauskas, the newly-appointed deputy CEO of Lietuvos Gelezinkeliai (LG) and director of the state railway company’s Freight Transportation Directorate, aims to bring more transparency to the cargo transport conditions and tariffs. Lietuvos Gelezinkeliai intends to publish basic tariffs to allow every client to check the calculations. Furthermore, the list of services will be reviewed: “The course is that every client should have a clear understanding of what he pays for will be maintained.”
LG leaders already met with freight companies of Klaipeda and discussed revision of tariffs and bringing more transparency. The railway company also recently revised the contract of service tariffs with Achemos Grupe’s largest stevedoring company, Klasco.
