Latvian railway carrier Latvijas Dzelzcels has completed the upgrade of its backbone data transmission network, reports Db.lv. The project has been funded by the Cohesion Fund of the EU. The total size of the investment is EUR 14.2 million. The EU grant amounted to EUR 8.8 million.
