On April 18, KTZ Express and RZD Logistics signed an agreement on the mutual development of rail transport in international traffic.
The agreement is aimed at expanding the geography of its services through the mutually advantageous use of the logistics and freight forwarding complex of the two companies to organise rail transport by territories of Russia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan and the countries of Central Asia.
The document also consolidates the agreements of both parties in the field of expanding cooperation in attracting transit traffic in universal rolling stock and containers, attracting a cargo base for the delivery of goods in refrigerated containers across Kazakhstan and Russia, developing tariff policy proposals to stimulate rail transport and mutual management of rolling stock of the two companies.
