Korea’s national train operator Korail was awarded a contract to provide consultancy services for the design of Manila metro Line MRT-7 in cooperation with San Miguel Holdings subsidiary Universal LRT, which is implementing the project.
The 22.8km 14-station line from Quezon City to Bulacan is scheduled to open in April 2020.
Moreover, in January Hyundai Rotem confirmed it has been awarded a contract to supply 108 metro cars together with signalling, communications, and power supplies for the project.
