Israel Railways submitted a draft prospectus to the Israel Securities Authority for a NIS 1 billion (212.6 million euros) bond offering in 2015. Over the next two years, the company will issue bonds totaling NIS 2 billion. The money will be used for investment in railway infrastructure development under a NIS 30 billion development budget covering the years until 2020.
