Isolux Corsan has been awarded by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation a project to design, install and commission the environmental control and ventilation systems in six different metro stations. Isolux Corsan will develop the project in a joint venture with Sterling and Wilson, India’s leading mechanical, electrical and plumbing services company.
The contract, with a budget of 4 million euros, includes the implementation of the necessary cutting edge ventilation technology in a total of six train stations: Janakpuri West, Dabri Mor, Dashrathpuri, Palam, IGD Airport and Najafgarh. The project is funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency.
With this award Isolux Corsan has consolidated as a contractor of Delhi Metro, by diversifying its activity and services for this client. The company is also developing electrification projects and the construction of the two traction substations that are part of the extension of line 5 and 3 city subway.
